WELFARE

Welfare Information

NOVA Centurion work in accordance with the Swim England Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures, where all children involved in the club have the right to stay safe and have fun. Amongst other things sport develops physical skills, self-esteem and the ability to be a team player, as well as providing an opportunity to achieve individual success.

The Policies and Procedures for Child Safeguarding can be downloaded from here.

If a swimmer has any concerns or worries, or if any person is concerned or worried about the welfare of a swimmer, if appropriate, they should speak to one of the Club Coaches or contact the Club Welfare Officer.

We have two welfare officers – Clare Greaves and Tiffany Granville.

Both can be contacted at the below email address:

Alternatively, Swimline is the Swim England and NSPCC Child Protection Helpline and is available for anyone, including children and young people, who believe that the welfare of a child is at risk.

This could be due to neglect or abuse, bullying or fear of someone, or anything that is worrying you and you don’t how to discuss this with. Swimline can be contacted on 0808 100 4001.
